The client Birth Choice, is a pregnancy recourse center that focuses on reaching woman in crisis pregnancy situations and saving those babies from abortion. A large number of unexpected pregnancies happen on high school and college campuses. In fact, 24% of all abortions are performed on women currently attending school.
The guerrilla marketing piece is meant to represent this stat in a visual and unexpected way, that puts women face-to-face with this reality. So that they realize the large percentage of their fellow students that have difficult choices to make. The women’s bathroom was selected for the place, because an unexpected pregnancy is often dwelt with, cried over, or discovered in a women’s bathroom - in the solitude and privacy. The goal of this piece is a general awareness of the enormity of the number of abortions.
